Board of Directors of Silkroad Development Agency visited the Netherlands, which is considered as one of the most vibrant countries in terms of FDI, R&D and innovation center of Europe.

Within the program organized between January 11th-14th, 2015, Turkish Embassy in The Hague and Consulate General in Deventer, the Offices of the Commercial Counsellors in The Hague and Deventer, Dutch-Turkish Business Association (HOTIAD), Koç Vlesswaren Meat Processing Facility, Utrecht Turkish Employers’ Asssociation (TOV Utrecht), Amsterdam InBusiness (the official foreign investment agency of the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area) and Netherlands Turkey Business Association (NETUBA) were visited.

The İKA mission also visited the Vakantiebeurs 2015-Utrecht International Travel and Tourism Exhibition, and promoted the touristic and cultural richness of TRC1 Region to the participants and visitors of the fair.

During the visits, information and experiences were obtained about the investment promotion activities from Amsterdam InBusiness and ongoing cooperation and collaborations among Turkish and Dutch businessmen from HOTIAD and NETUBA.

At the same time, Silkroad Development Agency Delegation shared the planning activities, the SME support mechanisms, the investment promotion activities of Silkroad Development Agency together with the potentials of TRC1 Region on industry, trade, tourism and agriculture to the Dutch executives.
